Roasting & Packing

All of our coffee is flushed with nitrogen to best preserve your coffee. This means that you can still enjoy our coffee within 6 months of the roast date on the bag.

Our 250g and 100g bags are made of PCR (post-consumer-recycled) plastic, and are fitted with one-way valves. These can be recycled along with your carrier bags and other soft plastics.

Best results are achieved by buying whole bean coffee and grinding just before brewing. If you’re unable to grind your coffee at home, you can select from a range of brew methods and we will grind it for you.

We roast and pack coffee between Monday and Thursday, except on Bank Holidays.

 

Dispatch & Shipping

We pack and dispatch orders between Monday and Friday. We are closed on Bank Holidays. If we receive your order before 9:00 a.m.on a weekday, it will be dispatched on the same day. We cannot guarantee same-day dispatch on orders received after this time. However, our dedicated team does their best to get orders placed after this time out the same-day.

Please ensure that your address is accurate when ordering as we cannot be held responsible for shipping errors caused by incorrect information.

We highly recommend choosing one of our express courier options for international orders. These services offer better tracking and are much faster and reliable.

If your order is more than 20kg in total in the UK, 4kg for Europe or 2kg for the Rest of the World please get in touch so we can quote costs before shipping.

 

Returns

We want to ensure the coffee your brewing is completely and consistently delicious. Although we do not accept returns on coffee, if your coffee is not up to standard, please contact our Home Brewing Helpdesk. They will also be able to provide help and brewing tips and are more than happy to assist with any questions you may have.

For hardware items, you have 28 days from receiving your order to return your item(s). They must be returned to us unused with tags and packaging intact. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.

  

UK Shipments

Please see our courier and service options for all UK shipments:

  • Royal Mail 48 (2-5 working days) – £2.80 or free, on all orders over £20.00 and under 2kg*
  • Royal Mail 24 & Royal Mail 24 Tracked (1-2 working days) – £3.70 or £4.50**
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery (next working day before 1p.m.) – £8.00**
  • UPS Standard (next working day) – £8.00
  • UPS Express (pre-10:30 AM next working day) - £10.00

All UK Subscriptions are sent via Royal Mail 48. 

UK orders of 2kg or more will be sent via Royal Mail 24 at a flat rate of £3.70 or via UPS Standard at a flat rate of £8.00.

*Some items, including grinders and automated coffee brewers, will be shipped via UPS as standard at a rate of £8.00. As high value, fragile items, we want to ensure they arrive with you as quickly and as safely as possible.

If you have not received your parcel within 14 days of the dispatch date, please contact us so we can address and rectify the situation.

EUROPE & INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Following changes resulting from Brexit, some EU orders will be subject to customs clearance, import taxes, country-specific charges and/or local country tax. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for these charges. We suggest contacting your local customs office or their website for more information before purchasing. Customs and duties are not calculated at checkout.

Orders to Europe and Rest of the World over 2kg are dispatched via either UPS Standard or Fedex International Economy. The shipping cost is calculated dependant on weight, please see the bottom of the page for further information.

Whilst most Royal Mail international shipments should arrive in 5 to 10 working days for Europe, shipments to the Rest of the World will take longer.  For all overseas orders, if your parcel does not arrive within
